Jake Jr Reed

In the early morning hours of Friday, December 1, 2017, the body of a man was discovered in a grassy area in the 6600 block of Kaufman Street, just off Scenic Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Responding to a call around 6 a.m., Baton Rouge detectives arrived at the scene to find a suspicious death that would soon be investigated as a homicide. The man was later identified as Jake Jr. Reed, a 51-year-old male. An examination by the Coroner's Office confirmed that he had been shot to death.
