Diego Gomez-Martinez, a 16-year-old high school student from Bladensburg, Maryland, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2016. Diego was accidentally shot while playing video games with friends at an apartment on 58th Avenue in Bladensburg. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on September 21, 2016, and Diego succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
