Jackson Bleier, a 22-year-old student and former swimmer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), was fatally shot on October 2, 2016, in the Yale Heights neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. Bleier, originally from Mount Kisco, New York, was in his fifth year at UMBC, pursuing a degree in Health Administration and Policy.
