On December 16, 2017, a fatal shooting occurred outside the House of Style barbershop on Maplewood Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The victim, 28-year-old Brandon Collins, was at the barbershop with his two children when he stepped outside to take a phone call. While standing next to his car, Collins was approached by two males who shot him multiple times.
