In the early evening of Wednesday, October 22, 2025, a fatal altercation unfolded at an apartment complex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Robert Detiege, a 38-year-old male, was inside a residence on Longridge Avenue when an argument escalated into gunfire. Police were dispatched to the scene around 5:15 p.m. and upon their arrival, they discovered Detiege had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
