In the early morning hours of the Fourth of July in 2018, the life of 28-year-old Felipe Gonzalez-Len was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Langley Park, Maryland. At approximately 3:00 a.m., Prince George's County patrol officers were dispatched to the 8300 block of 14th Avenue after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Gonzalez-Len outside, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services transported him to a nearby hospital, but his
injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead. The Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit promptly launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities have been working to identify a suspect or suspects and to determine a motive for the shooting.
