Demetrio Santos-Barros was tragically killed on November 8, 2020, in Hyattsville, Maryland. The incident occurred at the New Carrollton Metro station, where Santos-Barros was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a bus stop near the station. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that Abel Rojas Guzman, a 28-year-old man from Riverdale, Maryland, was the primary suspect in the case.
