On October 19, 2023, at approximately 10:05 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Hyattsville, Maryland, resulting in the death of Kevin Jason Paul, a 44-year-old resident of Silver Spring. The shooting took place in the parking lot of Gee's Nightclub, located in the 3400 block of 52nd Avenue.
