On May 16, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Prince George's County Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1700 block of Belle Haven Drive in Landover, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Antonio Crump Jr., a resident of Washington, D.C., suffering from gunshot wounds. Crump was pronounced dead at the scene. A second adult male victim was also found with critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
