In the summer of 2020, a quiet residential neighborhood in Hyattsville, Maryland, was disrupted by an act of violence that claimed the life of Brandon Isaiah Burton. On July 20, the 24-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. His death was quickly ruled a homicide, prompting an intensive investigation by the Prince George's County Police Department.
