In the early morning hours of November 11, 2018, the life of 37-year-old Quenton Alonza Boykin, a male from Glen Burnie, Maryland, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 600 block of Charante Court around 2:03 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Boykin unconscious and lying in a grassy area. He was suffering from significant trauma to his upper body.
Paramedics were quick to the scene and immediately began to administer life-saving measures.
Despite their efforts, Quenton Alonza Boykin was pronounced deceased at the scene. The nature of his injuries led investigators to immediately suspect a homicide. The Homicide and Evidence Collection Units of the Anne Arundel County Police Department took charge of the investigation, working through the morning to process the scene and interview potential witnesses. Mr. Boykin's body was sent to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to officially determine the cause and manner of his death.
In the years that have followed, the investigation into the death of Quenton Alonza Boykin has yet to yield any arrests or publicly identified suspects. The case is now listed among the cold cases being investigated by the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
