On the afternoon of April 13, 2023, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, 26-year-old Brandon D'Carlos Williams was walking to meet a friend at the Glen Mar Apartment Homes complex. Just after 12:30 p.m., as he passed a set of dumpsters, a man stepped out from behind them and opened fire. Williams suffered numerous gunshot wounds to his head and torso and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
