Matthew Anthony Ponder, a 27-year-old resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:30 a.m., when officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of M Street North East. Upon arrival, they found Ponder inside a home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
