In the autumn of 2009, the life of 21-year-old Brandon Curtis Borders was tragically cut short in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. A white male, Brandon was a resident of the Portland neighborhood. On the evening of Wednesday, October 28, 2009, he and his 17-year-old brother, Timothy O'Connor, were sitting in a car in an alley near the 2200 block of Saint Xavier Street.
