In the summer of 2016, a chance encounter in Louisville, Kentucky, turned fatal for 53-year-old Larry Pope. On the morning of August 16th, Pope was discovered deceased in a vehicle located in an alley off South 44th Street near River Park Drive. He had been shot, and his death was quickly classified as a homicide.
