In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 23-year-old Eric Jerome Watson II was tragically cut short. On August 13, 2025, in the Klondike neighborhood, a shooting occurred that would ultimately lead to Watson's death. Louisville Metro Police were dispatched to an apartment complex on Mid Dale Lane around 11:30 p.m. following reports of the shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Watson with a gunshot wound.
