On a tragic Sunday morning in Essex, Maryland, the life of 43-year-old Silvesta Daye Jr. was senselessly cut short in a violent shooting spree that left a community in shock. On March 28, 2021, Daye, a self-employed man and Chesapeake High School graduate, was a customer at a Royal Farms convenience store when he became an innocent victim in a string of brutal attacks.
