On November 7, 2021, Jihad Y. Brown, an 18-year-old from Cambridge, Maryland, tragically lost his life due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Greenwood Avenue, where Cambridge police officers on patrol heard gunshots around 12:52 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they found Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
