On a cold December evening in Cambridge, Maryland, the life of 69-year-old Lory Eugene Fields, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On December 8, 2022, Fields was found shot to death in the 700 block of High Street, a grim end to a day that saw another fatal shooting in the community just hours earlier.
