In the autumn of 2022, a life was tragically cut short at a gas station in District Heights, Maryland. On the afternoon of October 20th, 28-year-old Kenneth Morris III of Capitol Heights became the victim of a fatal shooting. The Prince George's County Police Department responded to a call at approximately 2 p.m. and discovered Morris in the parking lot of the BP gas station located in the 3200 block of Walters Lane, near the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue.
