Dennis Bellamy, aged 27, was tragically murdered on October 10, 1975, in Prospect, South Carolina. His death was part of a series of gruesome killings carried out by Donald Henry "Pee Wee" Gaskins, a notorious serial killer. Gaskins, who had a long history of criminal activities, was responsible for the deaths of numerous individuals, including Dennis Bellamy.
