In the quiet, unincorporated area of Red Bluff Crossroads in Horry County, South Carolina, a tragic event unfolded that cut short the life of 19-year-old Kalik Conn. On or around the first of June, 2022, Conn and another young man, Jeremiah Zachariah Dicker, who was 20, were fatally shot. The incident, which transpired on Highway 554, was not a random act of violence but rather the grim outcome of a planned armed robbery.
