Kalik Conn, a 19-year-old from Longs, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2022, in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 20-year-old Jeremiah Dicker from Columbia, South Carolina. The shooting occurred around 2:15 p.m. near Highway 554 and Red Bluff Crossroads in Horry County^1^. According to the Horry County Deputy Coroner, both Conn and Dicker were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third individual was injured in the incident^1^.
