Gregory Vincent Rice, a resident of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was reported missing on October 5, 2020. He was last heard from on October 2, 2020. Following his disappearance, extensive search efforts were conducted, including bloodhound searches and the execution of search warrants. Over a month later, on November 11, 2020, Rice's body was discovered near Pitts Landing off Highway 378, along the Little Pee Dee River, near the Horry County and Marion County line.
