Joshua McPherson, a 17-year-old from Florence, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022, in Conway, South Carolina. Joshua, affectionately known as "Big Bubba," was a promising football player at Wilson High School, where he played as a middle linebacker. On the morning of his death, Joshua was shot at the Coastal Club Apartments located near Coastal Carolina University. He was transported to Conway Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
