Death by Force

On November 7, 2024, 19-year-old Daquan Wright was fatally shot at his residence on Fowler Road near Conway, South Carolina. Horry County Police responded to reports of a shooting around 2 a.m. and found Wright lying on the porch with a gunshot wound to his face. He was transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead later that morning.
