On a late winter evening in the Bucksport area of Horry County, South Carolina, a life was tragically cut short. Eighteen-year-old Davorius Mack Jr. was fatally shot on March 2, 2025, while inside a vehicle at the intersection of Security Lane and Lucas Bay Road. The young man from Myrtle Beach was rushed to Conway Medical Center, but tragically, he was pronounced dead just before midnight. His death was quickly ruled a homicide by the Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner.
