On a cold January evening in 2014, the life of 23-year-old Joey Lee Pyatt Jr. was tragically cut short in Conway, South Carolina. Pyatt, a young man known and loved by his family, was a victim of gun violence on January 6th of that year. His untimely death left a void in the community and launched a homicide investigation as law enforcement sought to bring those responsible to justice.
