In the summer of 2021, the life of 31-year-old Arsenio 'Shine' Raheem Legette was cut short in a burst of violence within his own home in Conway, South Carolina. On the afternoon of Saturday, July 24th, Legette was shot and fatally wounded inside his residence on Sycamore Street. The Horry County Coroner's office confirmed his death, marking another tragic loss to gun violence. Legette, a Black male, was a father and a familiar face to many in the community through his job as a sales associate.
