State Constable Valdon Osborn Keith, aged 46, tragically lost his life on November 28, 1985, while in the line of duty. Constable Keith was shot and killed during a high-speed chase involving armed robbery suspects on State Park Road, near Worley Road, in Greenville County, South Carolina.
