On the evening of May 7, 2023, 21-year-old Richard Arthur "Drue" Owen IV was fatally shot in North Charleston, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. near Windsor Hill Boulevard. Emergency responders transported Owen to Trident Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11 p.m.
