In the quiet early morning hours of November 11, 2018, in Summerville, South Carolina, the life of 19-year-old Owen Chase Delau Griffin was tragically cut short. A resident of the close-knit community, Griffin was at his home when violence shattered the peace. He was struck by a bullet in what authorities described as a drive-by shooting, an act that sent shockwaves through the neighborhood. The Dorchester County Coroner's Office later confirmed that a gunshot wound was the cause of his death.
