The tragic incident occurred in the aftermath of a dispute over money with his cousin, Shakez Bracey. According to reports, the argument escalated, leading Fortune to shoot Bracey and leave his body in a wooded area. Bracey's body was discovered on September 30, 2014, prompting a series of arrests related to his death.
