On December 2, 2023, 20-year-old Tavaris Jamal Dolford from Darlington County, South Carolina, was found deceased in his vehicle on Dutch Lane in Lee County. A deer hunter noticed the car had been stationary for several hours and alerted authorities. Dolford had been reported missing by his family two days earlier, last seen on South Center Road in Darlington County.
