In the early morning hours of May 9, 2015, Eugene Marshall Delong III, a 28-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot inside his Loris, South Carolina, home. The incident occurred in the living room of his residence on Bill Grissett Road. Authorities believe the motive for the attack was robbery.
