Alvin J. Johnson, a 35-year-old resident of Loris, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2015. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning, during the church hour, in the vicinity of Broad Street and Maple Street in Loris. According to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick, Johnson sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including a fatal wound to the chest and two additional gunshot injuries to his lower body.
