Rashawn D. Smith, an 18-year-old recent graduate from South Columbus High School, tragically lost his life on February 8, 2020, in what authorities described as a "traffic-related shooting incident" near Loris, South Carolina. The incident occurred early in the morning on Highway 9 near Log Cabin Road.
