In the early evening of December 7, 2019, the community of Loris, South Carolina, was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 32-year-old Myron Jawan Spain, a Black male resident of the town. The fatal incident unfolded around 7:00 PM in front of an apartment complex on Harrelson Avenue, where gunfire erupted, leaving a scene of chaos and multiple victims.
