Christian Hemingway, age 18, male, Black / African American, was shot in the early morning hours of August 17, 2025, along the 1300 block of Cedar Branch Road in the Loris area of unincorporated Horry County. Responding officers found the 18-year-old and performed CPR before he was transported around 1:45 a.m. to McLeod Health Loris, where he was pronounced dead.
