William R. Simmons, a 27-year-old resident of Loris, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on July 27, 2017, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Simmons was initially taken to the Loris Emergency Room before being transferred to Grand Strand Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Horry County Coroner, Robert Edge Jr., confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
