In the quiet community of Goose Creek, South Carolina, the summer of 2015 was marked by a startling act of violence that ended the life of a long-time resident. Loyde 'Lee' Williams, an 85-year-old male, was found deceased in his home from a gunshot wound on July 16, 2015. Williams was a retired Staff Sergeant in the US Navy.
