Sir James Anthony Robinson, a 17-year-old from Goose Creek, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2022. The incident occurred outside a Taco Bell in Goose Creek, where Robinson had gone with four other individuals to purchase marijuana from Auquan Grier. According to police reports, Grier reached into the driver's side window of the car where Robinson was seated. When Robinson attempted to drive away, Grier fired shots at the vehicle, striking Robinson and another person.
