In the summer of 2015, the life of 22-year-old Alphonzo LaQuan Pyles was tragically cut short in a parking lot near Greer, South Carolina. On the morning of July 18, 2015, Pyles was discovered shot to death, leaving his family and community searching for answers. The male victim’s death was quickly ruled a homicide, launching an investigation by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office that would span several years.
