On November 16, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m., the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunshots on Rustcraft Drive in Greer, South Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two men with gunshot wounds: 30-year-old Cody McKinley Norris and 60-year-old Edward Galindez, both residents of Greer. Norris was pronounced dead at the scene, while Galindez was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
