In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Sumter, South Carolina, the life of 37-year-old Robert Darnell Jones came to a violent end. On July 19, 2015, at approximately 1:00 a.m., police responded to calls of shots fired on Dixie Drive. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered Jones's body in front of a residence.
