On a late summer day in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Charles Weaver Jones Jr., a 58-year-old man, was diligently working on an air conditioning unit at a residence on George Street. It was August 27, 2015, a day that would tragically be his last. While in the yard of the home, the sound of a single gunshot shattered the ordinary afternoon.
