Gary Leon Dennis, affectionately known as "Boot," was born on July 31, 1959, in Anderson, South Carolina. He was the son of Willie Mae Dennis and the late Herold Dennis. A 1977 graduate of Westside High School, Gary was a dedicated employee at Burger King and had a passion for detailing cars. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
