In the early morning hours of June 20, 2021, a burst of violence at a convenience store near Anderson, South Carolina, cut short the life of 27-year-old Shane Michael Ware. The shooting, which erupted before dawn, also claimed the life of 30-year-old Tevin Jeriah Telford and left a third man, Jamal K. Jones, wounded.
