Kendra Omeka Grooms, a 21-year-old from Bishopville, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on March 5, 2016. Kendra was a graduate of Dreher High School, class of 2014, and was studying to become a Patient Care Technician. Her untimely death was the result of a fatal shooting by her live-in boyfriend, Malcom Holloman. This incident was a stark reminder of the pervasive issue of domestic violence, which continues to claim lives across the nation.
