On December 25, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a tragic drive-by shooting occurred in the Piedmont Road area, just outside of Bishopville, South Carolina. The incident resulted in the death of 39-year-old Calandra Nicole Troy and left another individual injured. Both victims were transported to Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, where Ms. Troy was pronounced dead at 6:47 p.m.
