In the quiet, early moments of December 3, 2020, the life of 23-year-old Shakimbra Kim Reames, a female resident of Bishopville, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. A mother of two young daughters, Reames was driving home after visiting a friend in the Lamar area. Shortly after midnight, as she came to a stop at the intersection of Sandy Grove Church and Cypress roads, her vehicle was struck by gunfire.
